The quality of the vineyard soils has a direct impact on grapes and wine quality and therefore hands full of ‘’good investments’’ are ploughed into our soils.

Cover crops increase the carbon contents of soils to feed microbes, suppress weeds, mitigate erosion, and fix nitrogen into the soils for use by the vines in summer.

We aim to ensure that exceptional grape quality is handed over to our winemaking team in the cellar to guide the grapes gracefully and effortlessly into lovely wine.
